The inclusion of any products or services on this website at a particular time does not imply or warrant that these products or services will be available at any time.

Certain weights, measurements, and descriptions may be approximate and are provided for convenience purposes only. We try to keep sizes updated as models are changed, however dimensions may vary from those stated. If you have a dimensional limitation please call to confirm dimensions.

Colors shown in photos vary depending on your device, lighting conditions, and other factors, and we cannot guarantee that your device will accurately display such colors. Please visit our showroom for samples of stains, paints, upholstery, and other items prior to purchase. Foothills Amish Furniture is not responsible for variations in wood color, stain color, cherry pits, knots, knot holes, mineral deposits, sap wood, and wood grain. Wood is a natural product created by the environment, the natural characteristics will not allow for a perfectly uniform product and pieces may have color variations.


Mattresses & Bedding

Please allow an adequate period of time for your body to adjust to your sleep set. King and queen sets must have a center support system. In addition, a mattress pad is required by the manufacturer’s warranty to preserve the surface quality of the bedding.


Special Orders

We will be happy to arrange special orders of merchandise to meet your home furnishing needs. A 50% down payment is required to start any built-to-order furniture purchase. The remaining 50% is due when the shipper takes possession of your order. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. Foothills Amish Furniture does not require any deposit on in stock furniture.

Sales Tax

There is a 6% to 8% sales tax charge for any order delivered within South Carolina. Please contact us for sales tax details regarding out-of-state orders.


Estimated Completion Date

Foothills Amish Furniture produces solid wood, hand crafted furniture and each piece is made to order. Amish-built furniture is not factory made, so additional time is required to build and finish each piece to meet the high standards expected of custom made furniture. The estimated completion date is the approximate date the order is expected. Foothills Amish Furniture is not responsible if the “actual” completion date varies from the “estimated” completion date. We will do everything we can to try and get your order in a timely manner, however, we will not rush the build and finish process, we want your furniture to be built with the highest possible craftsmanship available. Order timing is based on a number of factors. Your salesperson will provide you with a timeframe for your custom furniture when the order is placed.


Order Status

Order status may be checked by calling the store. Please include your order number. As the Amish do not have phones or computers, we do not have a means to track order progress. We will not have any updates available until at least the 8th or 9th week of the order process.


Warranty Information

We honor all our manufacturers’ warranties. Every piece of furniture we sell comes with a 10-year satisfaction guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer, also by different components within the manufacturers’ products. It is important to note, depending on warranty terms, age and condition of furniture, shipping, handling and labor may not be covered items. Ask your sales associate for details. Should you detect a defect, simply return the item to us, and we will repair it at no charge other than necessary shipping costs. This warranty does not apply to issues caused by the failure to maintain proper (35%-45%) humidity levels in the home. Warranty is void where pets are involved.


Return Policy

Foothills Amish Furniture operates on the principle that we seek to provide our customers with the highest quality Amish furniture. If for some reason you are displeased with your order, please notify us within 3 business days after delivery or customer pick-up. Merchandise will be picked up by our White Glove delivery team on the next available delivery truck.

The refund amount is limited to the purchase price, minus shipping and discounts, if we cannot satisfactorily resolve a problem you have with your furniture. Because each piece of furniture is custom-built, we are unable to return it to the builder, therefore, returned special orders will be charged a 15% restocking fee plus the cost of shipping.

Custom furniture (i.e. any items with customized sizing, specialty staining/finishing techniques) and Clearance items cannot be returned unless received damaged. Your payment will be refunded once Foothills Amish Furniture has received notification that your return has been picked up.


Non-Returnable/Non-Refundable Items

Customer’s Own Material: Special orders of upholstered furniture utilizing material other than the manufacturer of the frame style require a non-refundable full payment in advance. Such orders may not be returned.

Rugs, bed covers, mattress pads, arm caps, pillows, decorative pillows and fabric yardage are all non-returnable items. Fabric protection is non-refundable.


As-Is Clearance Items

These items are sold as-is with no warranty, refunds, returns or cancellations.


Damage Policy

We request that you inspect your furniture in its entirety (packaging materials and the individual piece[s]). Any cosmetic damages (i.e., scratches, dents, nicks, etc.), must be reported at the time of delivery. Once our shipper leaves, we cannot be held liable for any cosmetic damages. Damages on the piece's integrity (i.e., building errors, uneven staining, etc.) must be reported no later than three days after receipt of your order. We recommend having a camera and pen and paper ready when your order is delivered to record any potential damage issues. When possible we ask that any damage/issues be noted on the Delivery Receipt paperwork. Photos will assist in expediting the claims process. We are here to help with any questions you have and help with the your claim's processing. Please submit all claim information to Foothills Amish Furniture.


Printed Catalogs

We’re sorry, but because of the continuing variety of our inventory and the number of Amish builders we use, we do not have a printed catalog to distribute. However, we may have additional pictures and literature that we can email if you specify what products you are interested in.


Enforcement/Choice of Law/Venue

All disputes relating to this Agreement, Foothills Amish Furniture Privacy and Shipping Policy, your use of the site, the service, or the content are governed by and will be interpreted per the State of South Carolina laws without regard to any conflict of law’s provisions. The venue for all disputes relating to this agreement shall be in Landrum, SC.
